This “monkey tail” leaves quite a bit to be desired.

 

Monkey Tail, anyone?

 

It’s a traditional summer treat in some parts of the United States – dipping a frozen banana in chocolate, sometimes rolling it with nuts for good measure. It sure is healthier than an ice cream bar, and we imagine the name evokes both the curve of a monkey’s tail and the stereotype that monkeys love bananas.

So why was this one so blah?
