Where did that delicious Twinkie filling go?

When Hostess declared bankruptcy a years ago, we all wondered if that would be the last time we would ever stare down the deep-friend variety at the end of our stick.

Luckily, Twinkies are back in full swing. And if it wasn’t unhealthy enough, all that changes when you stab a stick through it, dunk it in batter, and fry it in hot oil. We guess you could say they’re twice-baked.

But why not sprinkle some powdered sugar on it for good measure?

It turns out you’ll need a little something extra after all, since the filling completely disappears into another dimension. At least, that’s what happened to us.
